The pillar covers come ready to peel off the backing and stick on. From what I've heard you have to clean the area thoroughly with alcohol pads. Chrome does look great on the dark Genny.Ouch, I hate door dings so much!
So do the stainless steel pillars just snap on over the factory ones or do you have to glue them, or how exactly do they work. I am interested in the black Genesis sedan and think the chrome pillars would look great!
I doubt that the color I chose for my 2010 3.8 Tech will be chosen by many others. For me, dark colors are out—they take too much washing and polishing, and they can be 30°–40° hotter inside after being parked in hot sun. I'm past the age of showing off and into the age of being practical. For those that have picked up a Genesis Sedan or plan on picking one up, what is you color of choice?
Just looked back at the site. The Beige will be spectacular. Good luck!So I picked Champagne Beige Metallic.
I really like the Cabernet red pearl exterior with a cashmere beige leather interior with dark woodtrim dash & doors of my 2009 Genesis V6.For those that have picked up a Genesis Sedan or plan on picking one up, what is you color of choice?

A metallic pearl white looks great, but that's what I've had before, and what my wife has now, and I'm kind of tired of it. So I picked Champagne Beige Metallic.
Hi.....and Happy New Year 3.8 Liter,Very interesting color choice.
How has the car been for keeping it clean, does it hide the dirt and dust well?
Hi.....and Happy New Year 3.8 Liter,
Unfortunately, the Cabernet red pearl color is like a burgandy color. It is a dark color so the dirt and dust shows-up a little more than a light colored car.
But regardless, I am happy with my choice and would do the same today. See attached photo when the vehicle is clean.
