Soap and water has never gone wrong for me but it is very time consuming.
I don't think your car is different from anyone else's that bugs would only be attracted to yours. The reason that it's more visible is because you drive a yellow car. I drive a black car and bugs hit it as well... its just less visible. Bugs will hit your car no matter what when you are driving. It's just like saying that because I drive a yellow car, birds will naturally crap on it more often... quite ridiculous, don't you think? Not sure this is the thread to post this on, wondering if anyone has experienced this problem:
My genesis is Interagos Yellow and I have problems with bugs...nats and flys that fly on it all the time! Dont think its the cleaning products I use cause I've changed to several different products thinking that's what it might have been. Could it be.....the color???? LOL
You can try a special shampoo, but I did not like it. Steam treatment helped Car steam cleaning process | What is car steam clean? in general the steam gets very hot and turns into a gas with the help of a steam cleaner. Such gas does not leave traces of water drips, does not harm surfaces. Try it - for me the topic with car steam cleaner really came upI love a clean engine, clean enough to eat off of but thats nearly impossible. What kind of engine cleaner does everyone recommend to keep under the hood looking like it just rolled out of the dealership showroom.
