The new Genesis G70 sport sedan has been leaked in a series of images ahead of its debut later this month.
The G70 will share its rear-wheel drive platform and turbocharged engine range with the Kia Stinger. The Stinger is offered with either a 255 horsepower 2.0-liter turbo or a 365 horsepower 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6. An eight-speed automatic is the only
transmission option and all-wheel drive is also available. We’re expecting the same equipment to appear in the G70, though we could see a bit more power being offered.
Based on these images, the G70 will have a sporty appearance that is a bit more curvaceous than the Stinger. The cars seen here are wearing large alloy wheels with red brake calipers (possibly the same Brembos present on the Stinger) along with large oval-shaped twin
exhaust outlets. Not surprisingly, the front is dominated by Genesis’ large single-frame mesh grille. The headlights and what we assume are lower daytime running lights are covered by a protective white film.
