Freeway wobble

I just bought a new Genesis v-6 2012 model. I have noticed the car wobbles when I am driving on the freeway at 80 mph. Has any one else expirienced this problem?

Wobble?

By 'wobble' do you mean a vibration, like the tires being out of balance, or do you mean an unstable condition like wandering?

Wandering can be caused by being out of alignment or uneven tire pressure. My Genesis had this problem as delivered and I found the tire pressure varied by 3 pounds! I had Nitrogen put in the tires and the pressure set at 35 pounds. This corrected most of the problem, but I increased the stability further, by lowering the back tires to 34. I am still not satisfied, so I will lower the rear tires to 33 pounds and report back. If I am still not satisfied, I will have the dealer check the alignment at the next service.
haha check the lugs dude, maybe you'll get lucky and it'll be an easy fix on the genesis. or most likely not

This is funny. I recently purchased a 2012 V6 and have the wobble in my steering wheel at speeds >65mph. I have an open thread on GenesisOwners right now to get opinions on the cause. Most, as well as the dealer, think the crappy Dunlop tires are the cause because of flatspotting from sitting on the lot for an extended period.

I'm supposed to be getting a call from the service rep today, but they have agreed to switch out my tires for new ones to hopefully correct the issue.

I'd be interested in hearing how this issue was resolved for you.

Edit: Probably getting nothing since this guy hasn't been on here for over a year and had 1 post.
