You could do it yourself if you have done body stuff before. It's not really rocket science. Also, just watch out for potholes. I have had a couple lowered cars and they were WAY low and the roads are bad here in Toronto, but I just drive carefully and look ahead at what is on the road surface and be careful when going up and down driveways/entrances.The roads here aren't terrible but they aren't great. I think I can handle it.
So what about the install - do I need a bodyshop to put it on or the dealership or can I wrench it on in my garage?
