Default Has anyone installed a tow hitch?

I am interested in towing my jet skis and was wondering if the Genesis would be able to handle it. Did anyone install a tow hitch on their sedan and what do you tow with it. Is there any power loss.

Can't find a specific weight capacity for you online but in the Hyundai manual it says towing is not recommended.

However I have heard of a few people putting hitches on the 4.6 model and being able to tow a motorcycle on a trailer. I would check with dealership or maybe someone else has more specific experience

Personally I wouldn't do it unless you have an ultra light trailer and an ultra light jet ski. Not a good idea IMO. This is a sporty car after all.

Agreed. Don't think theses have the frame to be pulling anything. BUT I'm sure people have tried it and succeeded.

I'm thinking of picking up an 03 or 04 Hyundai Sante Fe at a car auction and use it to tow another 2500 lb aluminum boat. That weight includes a 150 Merc 4 stroke. The 200 hp is about the same 510 lbs, so I figure whichever outboard I go with add another 300 lbs for gas and gear and it should be about 3000 lbs plus tow weight of the trailer weight.
maybe santa fe can be.. or try to use hitches. you can bought cheaply. there are cheap hitches sold through the net.
