I have a 2010 Silver 2.0L Turbo - premium! LUV IT!!! Still getting used to the paddle shifters! Just went down to 17" steelies with winter tires - getting use to that feeling... weird! Cant wait 'til Spring to put back on my 18's!

Always was interested in the paddle shifter option, does it really add to the driving experience? How does it work exactly, can you just use it whenever you feel like or is it difficult to switch between the computer changing gears or you doing it? Is it just a novelty or do you use it daily?

no contest: coupe all the way
done with boring family cars - kids just about out of the house - 3.8 in the coupe makes it fly

Answer: Maybe for someone who does not have experience driving a manual, but it is nothing "really" like the real thing
How does it work exactly, can you just use it whenever you feel like or is it difficult to switch between the computer changing gears or you doing it?
Answer: You can switch to the paddle any time you want and it will engage at the right gear - you just push the shifter to the left from "drive." then you can paddle shift from the gear shift or from the paddles attached to the 10 and 2:00 positions on the steering wheel (just reach behind with your fingertips) - then you can push it back into drive at any time. The paddle shifters on the steering wheel don't work if you're turning, though . . .
Is it just a novelty or do you use it daily?

Answer: I think it's a novelty so far anyway - have had my Coupe for about 2 months and have played with it only a few times - am considering trying to use it more often from a stop because the auto shift from first to second is very low and a bit murky/mushy - so using the paddle shift would let me wind out first and second gear a bit more until i'm up to speed, then give control back to the A/T
