You can buy lots of different engine detailing products at your local auto parts store, but soap and water work too. Just try not to wet up any electronics too much.
cover any exposed filters and electric wires. spray a generous amount of engine degreaser. let it soak for a few minutes then either spray off with water or wipe off with a damp cloth. let it dry for a bit before attempting to start the car again.
So I looked under my hood for the first time in a while and have noticed a large a mount of road grim and dirt - possibly engine grease or oil?
What would be the best way to clean this off, would the soap and water solution work the best even for grime?
I know I am real late on this but with regards to the thing that's been the talk in this club. imI using driveway degreaser and works great and cleans the dirt well...i have no idea what's gonna be the difference of this brand from other degreasers out there.
