Anyone mod their front grill yet?

Post your pics, I'm interested in changing mine and would like some ideas

I really like the factory front grille but would be interested to see other possibilities.

Do you know how tough it is to install/replace the grille - is it a do it yourself job

I've seen the grill painted so the top of each "rung" matches the body color. The lower grill was also painted to match. On a dark color (Black or blue) really dresses it up. Otherwise I think the grill is spectacular. I've heard there's more to removing the grill than I would want to try.

I removed my grill myself and used a badgeless grill. U almost have to remove the front bumper to get to the screw that holds on the factory "h" emblem on the oem grill. not that hard but i have bodyshop experience.
removing oem grill is worst of it.

Hi,

If you are interested in different front grille for the Genesis sedan, you can check the E&G Classics Inc. website at the following website address and you can see the four different 2009-2010 Genesis sedan aftermarket front grille restyling products that they have.

They also have all kinds of aftermarket products for any Hyundai products or any other car makes.

I personnally prefer the original grille to those shown in that site.
Check out the photos and see what you think. Monandy

I am still very impressed with the stock Hyundai styling on the sedan. Personally would make no changes and think those grilles only look worse

I agree... those grills on the site don't really look that great. Granted they do reduce the amount of chrome on the front of the car, but there's something cheap looking about it and the Genesis is not a cheap looking car.

I think it would be interesting to paint the grill black, so it doesn't stand out as much - that's probably what I would do. It's all a matter of personal preference and what you like. I think the Genesis grill looks good the way it is.

Hmm painting it black is a much cheaper option. What kind of paint would I use for it? Do you think I would have to remove the grill or I could just tape around the car?

I would take it to a reputable body shop for this work. It is a brand new car and I would hate to see you mess up the color or finish on it. It shouldn't cost much to get it painted the stock color of your car and I think it will look much better than any of the aftermarket grilles.
