Default Manual or Automatic Transmission

What did you decide on for your Gensis Coupe, an automatic or manual transmission? How does it drive?

6 speed manual on mine and I love every minute of it. It is my first Hyundai and am really surprised by the build quality of the transmission so far....but I guess it is fairly early in my cars life cycle

Auto tranny here with shifttronic. The wife was nice enough to let me get a Genesis so I compromised and got an automatic so she can drive it from time to time.

I would never let my wife drive my car. She has her own!

I picked up the 6 speed and it has succeeded in keeping my expectations. Very fun car to drive.

I assumed I would buy a manual - but without telescoping steering column i couldn't sit back far enough to have the shifter in a comfortable position (i like to extend my arm a bit) - plus I'm not a spring chicken and traffic jams kill my knees with a manual - so got an A/T and really, really like it - plus i still have a '72 442 convertible to play with
