Talk to your service rep at the dealer.

If you have a gas smell in the exhaust you have a serious problem.
If you have an exhaust smell in the gas you have a serious problem.
If you have an exhaust smell in the exhaust or gas smell in the gas, your ok. just drive it.

Does the smell remain or is it just for a minute or two at start up?

How long has the car been sitting before you started it? Overnight, days?

Is it everytime?

Nonetheless, like Flying Fossil says - doesn't hurt to take it to the dealer while its under warranty still

Dealer time for you. Anything in the slightest that is wrong with mine and to the dealer it goes.

Yeah, any updates? I was going to say that most cars run a little rich when started in the cold at first. Should go away pretty quickly though.

could just be running a little rich since it only happens during startup. happens to my cars all the time. once they warm up it all disappears.
