Default Ball joints on GC

Not much going on here but I'll ask anyway.

Has anyone had issues with the ball joints on the couple after lowering it.
I am told they are made of aluminum and not all that durable.

Have not heard of that issue but can't say I have researched it any.

This is troubling news if true as I want to lower my car and not have any issues.

I am yet to own or work on a Genesis or have any face time with any mechanical aspects of the car.

However If this is the case, than it is only a matter of time before the aftermarket finds a solution for this issue. I don't think I'm really following you however.
Are we talking pre-mature wear, or total failure?

Time will tell.

I doubt the ball joints will be affected to adversely by lowering. More likely by the fact that you will be taking corners harder!

The fact that I will be taking the corners harder is not a fact.
I am a pretty conservative driver.
My guess is that any adverse affect will come from the fact, and this is fact, that the impact on the ball joints when you hit rough spots on the freeway, or anything over an inch or two high bottoms out the suspension.
