Sounds like a connection somewhere between the battery, starter and alternator. Get them to check it out. It could also just be a bum starter or solenoid. I have seen it happen before on other Hyundai cars.

Last Saturday it wouldn't start in my garage. The wheel would unlock but got nothing beyond that pushing the start button. All lights were bright so it wasn't the battery. Finally had time on Monday to call Hyundai Roadside Assistance and within an hour or so it was on a flatbed headed to the dealer. It took me a while to find in the manual how to unlock the shifter so we could push it out of the garage. The manual is great but the index sucks. On Sunday googled "smart keycar won't start" and found a Nissan GTR blog dealing with similar occurrences with their smart key. I suspect all these smart key electronics come from the same vendor. Anyway I'm still waiting for the dealer to get to my car and when I see the service report I'll post again.
